By using bip110.run (“Running BIP-110”), you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What this is
A free, public information observatory about the share of mined Bitcoin blocks
with version bit 4 set (BIP-110 signaling), plus related public-node and peer views.
It is for education and observation — not a product offering, exchange, brokerage, or advisory service.
Not financial advice
Nothing on this site is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice.
Numbers, charts, node prints, map arcs, and miner labels can be wrong, incomplete, delayed, estimated, or misinterpreted.
You are solely responsible for any decision you make.
Data & uptime
Signal and block data are derived from public chain data and third-party APIs (including mempool.space).
Peer maps may use Mapbox tiles and browser map libraries; the archived node-client snapshot uses a public coin.dance summary baked into this site.
Node user agents are self-reported and may be stale or manipulated. The BIP-110 count includes only user agents containing UASF-BIP110:; it does not estimate untagged operators.
Other snapshots may lag the tip. Displays may round, smooth (e.g. SMA windows), or omit blocks.
We offer no warranty that the site will be available, accurate, or uninterrupted.
Some preferences may be stored in your browser (localStorage); clearing site data removes them.
An anonymous public visitor session tally and a concurrent reading now count may use random browser ids (localStorage / sessionStorage) and short-lived edge storage. These are not accounts and carry no name or email.
Optional error reports (footer or continuous-improvement notice) may include a short note, automatic browser/environment details, and an optional screenshot you choose to attach. Optional feature ideas (notice link, ballot strip, or idea control) include only your note and an optional sketch or screenshot - no browser environment card. Reports may be emailed privately to the site operator for timely review. Do not put secrets or private data in either form.
Optional advocate indexing accepts a public X/Twitter handle only after its public display name visibly flies BIP110 or BIP-110. The site uses the public FxTwitter profile-card service to check that display name before creating a request. It does not research posts or infer positions. Do not submit others' handles without their knowledge.
Optional chat posts may include a short message and display nick you choose. Chat is public within the room, rate-limited, and retained briefly. Do not post secrets, personal data, spam, threats, or illegal content.
Support (optional payments)
Support is voluntary. If you Support the observatory, payment is handled by third-party processors
(such as Zaprite and card networks / Square, and any crypto rails they offer). Their terms apply.
Support does not buy equity, tokens, governance rights, deliverables, or guaranteed service levels.
Fran Finney’s Running Bitcoin Challenge (ALS) is a separate destination; send ALS gifts there, not as observatory Support.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the site or its upstream APIs (scraping that harms providers, attacks, fraud).
We may rate-limit or block traffic that threatens the service or third-party quotas (Cloudflare, Mapbox, mempool.space, CDNs).
If you use chat: no harassment, spam, scams, doxxing, or illegal content; no bare link spam; the operator may clear or restrict the room without notice.
Intellectual property
Site design and original text are provided for viewing on bip110.run.
Bitcoin protocol data is public. Third-party names and marks (Mapbox, Zaprite, Coin Dance, mempool.space, FxTwitter, etc.) belong to their owners.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators of bip110.run are not liable for
any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of
profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
The site is provided “as is.”
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules,
except where mandatory consumer protections of your residence require otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms when the live surface changes (for example, new third parties or payment rails).
The date at the top is the mark. Continued use after a material update means you accept the revised terms.
